Southern Amateur League – Buckingham Palace souvenir programme
In October 2013 HRH William, Duke of Cambridge, in his role as President of the Football Association, invited the Civil Service Football Club to host its Glemnet Southern Amateur League fixture against local rivals Polytechnic at none other than Buckingham Palace. The match is the only football match ever to have been played at the home of the British Royal Family. A limited run of 1000 copies were printed, the body on a 150gsm coated paper with a gloss laminated heavier outside cover of 300gsm.
Civil Service F.C. employed the services of Ace Graphics to print the match day programme on the recommendation of the Glemnet League and the Amateur Football Alliance and were not disappointed with the result. The team provided invaluable hands-on technical support with the design and creation of the programme document itself and the final product was an excellent booklet, professionally produced and well worthy of the occasion. Thank you Dave and the team at Ace Graphics.
